Incentive Structure
Base Fee: A fixed fee is established at the outset of the engagement, covering the core consulting services provided.
Performance Milestones: Specific, measurable outcomes are agreed upon, such as:
- X% reduction in operational costs
- Y% improvement in production efficiency
- Z% reduction in cycle time
Incentive Percentage: A predetermined percentage of the value generated from achieving these milestones is allocated as the performance incentive. For example, if a milestone results in $100,000 in savings, and the agreed-upon incentive is 10%, the consultant will receive $10,000.
Payment Schedule: Incentives are paid upon the successful achievement of each milestone, ensuring timely recognition of consultant contributions.
Step by Step Success
- Contract Deployment: The client deploys the contract, specifying the consultant's address, total contract amount, and dispute timeframe.
- Milestone Creation: The client defines milestones by adding them to the contract, specifying descriptions and associated payment amounts.
- Milestone Completion: Upon completing a milestone, the consultant marks it as completed, triggering a timestamp.
- Dispute Mechanism: If the client disputes a milestone, they can raise a dispute within the specified timeframe.
- Dispute Resolution: The client resolves the dispute by either approving payment or resetting the milestone status.
- Payment Release: Upon milestone completion, funds are released to the consultant's address.
